Sarah "Sass" Linneken is a former recipient of food assistance in Unity, ME. Now graduated from Unity College, and on stronger footing, Sass has gone from recipient to giver, volunteering her time with Veggies For All in Unity. Sass credits VFA for not only helping her in a time of need, but for teaching her how to become more self-sustaining. In addition to volunteering her time growing and harvesting vegetables for VFA, Sass now grows her own produce at home with skills she acquired through her volunteer work.
